This was a fantastic station to both arrive and depart at, with appropriately sized platforms! The station has a throwback design in multiple areas and navigation is easy using the various signs; information is also clearly provided by the departure boards. A Christmas tree up was a lovely addition, the staff were helpful with any problems, the bridge is a smooth link between platforms and cleanliness had been maintained!

A okay station in my opinion. There is two station buildings/complexes. One is the old one which has m&s shop inside and barriers. M&S does close early on some days 8/9pm. The new one is built across the road, with a new car park. Below the car park, they have Sainsbury’s and a new Greggs opening. There are toilets on platform (2 and 3) and many footbridges to connect you between platforms and ticket station. There are also waiting rooms on platform 1 and vending machines. There are lifts aswell. There is taxi service outside the old station building and pick-up/drop-off area is located between old and new building. It can get busy there as it is a single lane road which joins with traffic leaving from car park.
