This was a fantastic station to both arrive and depart at, with a massive and vintage building! Signs help navigate all around, departure times are heavily listed and the underground subway is in the station as a bonus. The platforms are appropriately sized, many are available and cleanliness had been maintained!

The hidden treasures of Glasgow Central encompass invaluable services for travelers. The left luggage or baggage storage is situated on the ground floor next to platform 1, which serves trains bound for London. There's super-fast free WiFi (20Mb download) available, enabling quick connectivity in the main hall and allowing for swift film downloads to watch on the train. You'll also find a clean and free restroom that's easy to locate, although it requires walking down one floor. A fountain with drinkable water is positioned between platforms 8 and 9. The ticket office staff are kind and helpful, promptly grasping your concerns and resolving them with a smile.

I admit, I haven't actually used a train service that has arrived nor departed from this station, but the architecture and layout of the station alone impresses me! The passageway that goes below the station particularly impresses me, it gives me a more Victorian feel than what is seen in the modern age. I love the vibe of this place, it's open design gives a sense of grandeur that is hinted at in the name and the busy commute of passengers is quite interesting to observe here. There are plenty of information boards and facilities whilst here, with stores also available to access.
